Management

UCTH has over fifty units, some with management structure that depicts a citadel of medical academic institute. All the unit s / depts. Have heads and each department has unique structures for effective delivery of services Above all these are three distinct personalities as follows:

• CMD : The CMD is the overall head for both teaching and non-teaching personnel’s. He sits on top of the management and only responsible to the Board of Directors and the health ministry at the Federal level
• CMAC : The CMAC – Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee is saddled with regulatory / supervisory roles on all the teaching and non-teaching staff. He also oversee that both curative health workers are in line with global best practices. Others include inspections of wards, hotels, colleges and other institutions in the hospital.
• DA – Director of Administration: The DA is in charge of the day-to-day administration of the entire system however, the DA is highly accountable to the rest on the hierarchy and therefore responsible for the optimum operational activities of the institutions
• Others on Hierarchy also perform their respective duties in tandem with laid down goals / objectives of institution and course relative to the SERVICOM codes of conduct.
